About Us

We are a Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs of Christchurch, New Zealand, catering to male and female players from age 4 to 65 in beginners, social and elite players.  Coastal Spirit was established in late 2007 as a merger of two long established clubs, New Brighton and Rangers AFC.

We have players of all ages playing in teams on Saturday’s and Sunday’s in Men’s, Women’s and Junior competitions.

With player pathways firmly established by full-time Director of Football, Gary Bennett, for performance or participation athletes, the club has an enviable record of turning out representative players.

We are very family orientated and welcome new players to join our community club.
